The meeting of the Working Group for cooperation with civil society was held under the auspices of the State Chancellery 🏛️, in the context of implementing the commitments assumed under the 2024–2027 Civil Society Organizations Development Program 📊.
The event served as a platform for dialogue and exchange of views 🤝 between public authorities, the associative sector, and the business community on the development of philanthropy and sponsorship in the Republic of Moldova 🇲🇩. The discussions also addressed the opportunity to adjust the regulatory framework, including by extending the percentage designation mechanism to legal entities or introducing instruments such as a tax credit 💡.
FIA Moldova was represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, who presented the community’s perspective on the existing framework in the field of philanthropy and sponsorship. The intervention highlighted both the experiences and challenges faced by member companies engaged in such activities, as well as a set of recommendations for improving the regulatory framework, aimed at stimulating donations, corporate sponsorship, and the involvement of the private sector in supporting public interest initiatives 🌱.
