Another insightful workshop on international business communication: “Typical mistakes in international business communication and how to avoid them”.
The training was delivered by Mr. Gerhard OHRBAND, a consultant in international sales facilitation, who helps companies improve international sales by consulting B2B sales teams on how to communicate more efficiently in foreign languages and with different cultures.
The main topics were referred to:
• Overcoming the fear of speaking foreign languages in uncomfortable and unfavorable situations (phone calls, teleconferencing, trade shows, public speaking, group negotiations);
• Avoiding mistakes and conflict that comes from misinterpreting language and culture;
• Adapting sales strategies and techniques to different languages and cultures;
• Setting up an in-company process of continuous language improvement, etc.
