Technical Meeting of the WG on the establishment of prices on medicines

On 6 October, the Work Group responsible for the amendment of the regulatory framework on the establishment of prices on medicines had a meeting, where following aspects were discussed:

revision of the criteria of the reference countries;

setting up separate price mechanisms for imported and for local medicines;

establishing the mechanism for direct negotiations, if the criteria set by the GD for setting the price on medicines are not applicable,

others.

At the meeting, FIA was represented by Ms Cristina Tiscul.
