The activity of independent entrepreneurs (freelancers) was the main topic of discussion at the meeting of the SME Advisory Council, held on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The event aimed to publicly consult on a draft legislative amendment š, initiated by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, which seeks to regulate freelance activityāan important segment of the labor market.
Through this initiative, individuals who are fit to work will be able to carry out economic activities independently, without being required to establish a formal legal entity.
FIA Moldova was represented at the meeting by Executive Director Ana Groza, who emphasizes the importance of this project as a bridge between the economy and citizens, that will help reduce the number of inactive individuals in the Moldovan labor market and contribute to strengthening the business environment š¤š.
