On October 7, 2024, the Ministry of Energy, in partnership with the United Nations Development Program in the Republic of Moldova, held the launch event of the innovative energy regulatory test-bed spaces, generically referred to as “Sand-boxes in the energy sector”.
The agenda of the event included several discussion sessions on the development of innovative solutions through this “Sand-box” mechanism, aimed at stimulating emerging innovation in the energy sector, thus contributing to a just energy transition and sustainable development.
The aim of the event was to present detailed information on the provisions of the mechanism foreseen by the recently approved law, as well as the secondary regulatory framework to be approved in the coming period of time.
