Today, as part of a roundtable organized with the support of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova, His Excellency Søren Jensen, Ambassador of Denmark to the Republic of Moldova, along with his diplomatic team, discussed the new Danish Development Cooperation Strategy. This dialogue focused on the vision and objectives of the strategy for the coming years, as the current strategy, “The World We Share” (2021 – 2025), is nearing its end. 🌍
The new strategy will guide Denmark’s global development commitments, with a special emphasis on strategic partnerships with countries such as the Republic of Moldova. The main areas of focus for the new strategy include:
• Strengthening collaboration with the private sector 💼
• Investments and trade 📈 • Active involvement of the private sector 🏢
• Green transition 🌱
These priorities reflect Denmark’s commitment to a sustainable and prosperous future, both for Moldova and globally 🌎.
Throughout the discussions, representatives of the business sector from the Republic of Moldova had the opportunity to highlight the main challenges faced by various sectors of the economy 💬, as well as to explore potential opportunities for deeper cooperation between Denmark and the Republic of Moldova 🤝.
In the context of these discussions, FIA Moldova, represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, appreciated the continuous support provided by the Danish Industry in promoting the green transition in the Republic of Moldova 🌱, a key area in the vision of sustainable development, both for our country and for the global community. 🌍
