Public consultations on the update of the National Programme for the Accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union for 2025–2029 were held in a hybrid format under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
Representatives of public authorities, civil society and the agri-food sector took part in the discussions, reviewing the actions related to the negotiation chapters within the Ministry’s area of responsibility, which are part of Cluster 5 – “Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion”, namely:
🔹 Chapter 11 – “Agriculture and Rural Development”
🔹 Chapter 12 – “Food Safety, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Policy”
🔹 Chapter 13 – “Fisheries and Aquaculture”
The consultations aimed to review and, where necessary, adjust the planned actions to ensure that they reflect the needs of the respective sectors and contribute to fulfilling the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova in the European integration process.
