Preliminary Public Consultations on the transposition of European Union legislation in the field of cross-border posting of workers in the context of service provision, took place under the aegis of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection 🏛️.
The meeting brought together representatives of central public authorities responsible for labor relations, relevant institutions, social partners, as well as representatives from the business community 💼.
The discussions focused on how the Republic of Moldova will implement the new European rules regarding posted workers and on clarifying the responsibilities of the institutions involved. Participants emphasized the need for close cooperation with the National Social Insurance House 🏥 to determine the social security regime and assess the impact on public resources, as well as with the General Inspectorate for Migration ✈️ to ensure effective monitoring before the new provisions come into force.
FIA Moldova was represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, alongside representatives of member companies, which highlights the importance of business involvement in public dialogue through providing observations and proposals aimed at ensuring efficient, clear, and coherent implementation of the legal framework ✅.
