Public consultations were held on the draft law amending certain normative acts, aimed at updating the legislative framework in the field of competition. The initiative is promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and drafted by the Competition Council.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the proposed changes and to facilitate an open dialogue between authorities and representatives of the associative environment. Active participation from associations and business organizations played a crucial role, contributing to well-founded positions, identifying potential implementation challenges, and providing recommendations to ensure a fair, transparent, and predictable competitive framework.
Involvement of the associative sector in public consultations is key to strengthening an effective public-private dialogue that reflects economic realities and the needs of the business community. Through their expertise and practical experience, associations directly help improve the quality of legislation and align it with international best practices.
FIA Moldova was represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, accompanied by representatives of member companies, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to supporting a modern and competitive legislative framework.
