Public Consultations on the agenda items and commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova within the framework of the Negotiating Position for Chapter 19: Social Policy and Employment were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
The event provided a valuable platform for dialogue between authorities, civil society, and the business community, marking an important step in the process of aligning with the EU acquis in the field of social policy and employment. The acquis list relevant to Chapter 19 is structured into 9 thematic blocks, each targeting essential reforms for the labour market and social rights.
FIA Moldova was represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, along with representatives of member companies. The Association supports the development of a coherent and balanced legal framework that ensures fair working conditions, labour market attractiveness, and predictability for investors.
