FIA Executive Director, together with the experts of the member companies, participated in the public consultations launched by the Parliamentary Committee for Economy, Budget and Finance on the draft law no. 205 of 22.06.2023 on the amendment of the Tax and Customs Policy for 2024 on 10 July.
Following priorities were listed:
✅ Elimination of the 5-year limit for reporting the incurred tax losses;
✅ Standardization of the categories of products to which the reduced VAT rate of 8% applies;
✅ Clarification on the customs clearance, at the request of the AEO economic agent, at internal or border customs posts other than the place of registration of the legal premises;
✅ Elimination of the obligation to sign and stamp tax invoices issued on the basis of the accompanying goods certificate;
✅ Deduction of taxi expenses incurred by the company for providing transport for business purposes, and others.
