
Under the auspices of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), public consultations were held on the draft Law amending Law No. 230/2022 on Copyright and Related Rights. The event brought together representatives from public institutions, the business community, and civil society, providing an open platform for dialogue and exchange of views.
The purpose of the consultations was to present and analyze the proposed amendments as part of the ongoing revision of the legal framework governing copyright and related rights, in the context of aligning it with European directives and international best practices.
Representatives of the business community in the Republic of Moldova had the opportunity to express their views and provide suggestions regarding the potential impact of the proposed changes on economic activity.
FIA Moldova was represented by Ana Groza, Executive Director, who supports the importance of a clear, balanced, and predictable legislative framework to ensure effective protection of copyright, without imposing excessive burdens on the business environment.
