Public consultations on the Republic of Moldova’s negotiating positions for five chapters under Cluster 2 – “Internal Market” and Cluster 3 – “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth” were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization.
📅 The event took place in the context of the official opening, on 13 October 2026, of accession negotiations for the two clusters. It aimed to facilitate dialogue with representatives of the business community, professional organizations, civil society, and other stakeholders.
📌 The chapters covered during the consultations:
🔹 Chapter 1 – Free Movement of Goods;
🔹 Chapter 3 – Right of Establishment and Freedom to Provide Services;
🔹 Chapter 6 – Company Law;
🔹 Chapter 20 – Enterprise and Industrial Policy;
🔹 Chapter 28 – Consumer and Health Protection.
🤝 Discussions focused on the commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova and the measures required to align with European Union rules and standards, fostering constructive dialogue between public authorities and stakeholders.
