Public consultations on the Republic of Moldova’s negotiating positions for Chapter 4 – “Free Movement of Capital” and Chapter 9 – “Financial Services” were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the official opening, on 13 October 2026, of accession negotiations for Cluster 2 – “Internal Market” and Cluster 3 – “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth”.
💬 The discussions focused on reforms already implemented and planned measures to align the national framework with the European Union’s standards and requirements in the areas of capital movement and financial services.
🤝 FIA Moldova was represented by its member companies from the financial and banking sector, contributing to the dialogue on reform priorities and the involvement of the business community in the Republic of Moldova’s European integration process.
