
The presentation and analysis of European Union acts included in Chapter 2: Free Movement of Workers πΆββοΈπ was the central theme of the discussions during the public consultations organized yesterday by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection ποΈπ€.
During the meeting, each of the relevant EU acts included in this chapter was briefly presented, highlighting their main provisions, as well as the draft laws under development, aimed at transposing these acts into national legislation.
Thus, the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), represented by Inga Pascal, Project Manager, along with other business environment representatives, had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with these acts in detail and express opinions regarding their impact on business in Moldova π¬.
FIA Moldova emphasizes the importance of harmonizing national legislation with the EU acquis in the mentioned field, as it plays an essential role in developing the mobility of the workforce in the EU internal market. Harmonization will contribute to strengthening the freedom of movement for workers πΆββοΈπΌ, protecting their economic, social, and legal rights βοΈ, and attracting skilled workers from the EU π©βπ¬. Additionally, a clear and transparent legislative framework regarding employment conditions for foreign workers π will create a favorable environment for foreign investors, increasing the attractiveness of Moldova as an investment destination.
