The second meeting of a series of webinars on open data and good governance organized within the framework of the extra-budgetary project ‘Promoting Good Governance and Enhancing Anti-corruption Efforts in the OSCE Area through the Use of Open Data and New Digital Technologies’, on the topic of ‘Data Monitoring, Analysis, Use and Re-use to Strengthen Government Transparency and Decision-Making Processes”, was held on 10 November 2020.
The aim of this webinar was to present open data initiatives and show the creation and reinforcement of a culture of evidence-based decision-making based on citizen and community needs. The webinar also focused on how open data is used to monitor and influence sector specific reforms, or broader governance reforms at the national or local level. It presented effective and efficient practices in the monitoring, analysis and use of open data and as well as the potential impact across countries in Central Asia, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.
