📌 Preliminary discussions on the transposition of Directive (EU) 2023/970 to strengthen the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between men and women through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms, were recently held under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
🤝 The meeting brought together international and national experts, as well as representatives of public authorities, social partners, and the business community.
⚖️ During the discussions, the main directions for action required for the transposition of Directive (EU) 2023/970 were analyzed, aiming to strengthen the application of the principle of equal pay for equal work or work of equal value between women and men.
