On June 9th, FIA Executive Director, Mrs. Ana Groza, as coordinator of the working group “Attracting and maintaining private investments” of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, participated in its Plenary Session. The event was chaired by Mr. Ion Chicu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
Among the main priorities of the working group were the following:
✔Review of the “luxury” tax of 2.5% and the portability tax, paid by mobile phone companies;
✔Implementation of Law no. 28/2006 on access to the property;
✔Drafting and approval of the e-Health Strategy and finalization of the Telemedicine Concept;
✔Approval of transparent and predictable criteria for contracting medical services by the NHIC;
✔Complying by the state authorities of the Extraordinary National Commission On Public Health Decisions, namely Decision no. 12 of May 25, 2020, point 14.4, which exempts from the self-isolation regime the persons traveling in professional interest, proven by visa, residence permit or other confirmatory document.
