On August 13th, FIA executive director, Mrs. Ana Groza, along with other business associations representatives, participated at the meeting organized by the Parliamentary Commission for Economy, Budget and Finance.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss recent tax measures, and in particular:
– The tax treatment applied to meal tickets,
– Elimination of the VAT exemption for HORECA sector, and
– Tax increase for environmental pollution.
The Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Igor Munteanu expressed his openness for analyzing presented solutions, but mentioned that the Government’s decision could not be changed.
