Online meeting, organized by the Environment Agency, in order to implement the principle of extended producer responsibility (REP) for packaging products was held on 7 June.
The REP principle is regulated by the Regulation on packaging and packaging waste, approved by Government Decision no. 561 of 31.07.2020.
During the online meeting, the provisions of the mentioned Regulation and the obligations of the packaging manufacturers were presented.
