OECD webinar “Anti-Corruption Reforms in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Focus on Asset and Interest Disclosure”

During the webinar, the ACN Secretariat presented the findings of the new report “Anti-Corruption Reforms in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Progress and Challenges, 2016-2019” with the focus on conflict of interest and asset declarations, and explained how it uses performance indicators to monitor future progress in this area.

Panellists representing ACN government, international organisations and civil society discussed both successes and challenges in preventing conflict of interests and illicit enrichment, especially among high-level officials.

Insights about OECD member countries in the same area helped to analyse the experience of Eastern Europe and Central Asia in a broader context.
