The board of directors of the National Medical Insurance Company (CNAM) approved in the meeting on Thursday, April 11, the report on the execution of the mandatory medical assistance insurance funds (AOAM) for the year 2023.
The general director of CNAM, Ion Dodon, gave a presentation of how the respective funds were managed, specifying that the accumulated revenues were approximately 14 billion 570 million lei. Compared to 2022, the amount of income increased by approximately 1 billion 900 thousand lei or by 15.3%.
During the same meeting, the general director of CNAM informed the Board of Directors about the measures taken by CNAM to implement the recommendations following the 2023 audit of the Court of Accounts.
At the same time, the members of the CNAM Board of Directors took note of the report on the inclusion in the first quarter of the year in the AOAM system of natural persons and providers of medical and pharmaceutical services, as well as the results of the evaluation and monitoring of the contracted providers.
