On 17 November, FIA Executive Director Ana Groza, as a member of the Board of AFAM – Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Moldova, moderated the National Conference of Women Entrepreneurship in Moldova “The Dream Has Wings. Female Resilience. Power and Prosperity in crises times”.
The forum gathered representatives of central and local public authorities, diplomatic corps, international organizations, business community, motivational speakers, refugees and other interested stakeholders.
The aim of the conference was to influence a paradigm shift in society regarding the role of women, develop the skills of women and girls, increase the overall happiness index in society, increase the number of women-led exporting companies and the volume of attracted investments, and develop businesses with social impact, including in rural areas, among others.
The event was organized with the support of the project “Empowering Women Affected by Crises for a Richer and More Stable Society”, implemented by the National Youth Council of Moldova in partnership with AFAM, with the support of UN Women Moldova and Women’s Fund for Peace and Humanitarian Assistance.
