On April 10, 2024, Ana Groza, executive director of the FIA, as a member of the National Confederation of Employers from the Republic of Moldova – CNPM, participated in the meeting with the Director General of the ILO, Gilbert F. Houngbo, and the European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights , Nicolas Schmitt.
The President of the CNPM, Leonid Cerescu mentioned the challenges of the labor market, the solutions to eradicate them, as well as the progress made since the last meeting with the IOM Director General in February 2023.
The participants discussed the support needed to overcome the multidimensional crisis affecting the labor market in the Republic of Moldova and mentioned that the ILO will continue to provide assistance to the tripartite constituents of Moldova for the promotion of social dialogue and the development of institutional capacities.
