On february 26th, 2016, Foreign Investors Association (FIA) organized for its members an informal reunion with the ex Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova and businessman, Mr Ion STURZA.
The event mainly focused on the role of the business associations in improving the country’s investment climate.
Furthemore, Mr STURZA referred to the business culture in Romania; his activity as an investor in Romania and the Republic of Moldova; his cooperation with international business partners, and his personal experience in various fields of activity.
He welcomed the input of the business associations, incuding FIA, in improving the investment climate, highlighting the fact that lately „the associations have begun to be heard”.
The participants raised the issues faced by the foreign investors in the Republic of Moldova, as well as possible mitigation solutions.
