The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) proposed amendments to Government Decision No 938/2018 approving the Regulation on the manner of crossing the state border for the goods, subject to control by the National Agency for Food Safety.
ANSA proposed to perform identity checks on a minimum of 10% of consignments of food products of non-animal origin and products that are used as ingredients for the preparation of food products for human consumption.
Another provision would allow physical checks by sampling to be carried out according to known risk and the annual food safety surveillance and control program for certain food products.
