Meeting on the implementation of the "deposit system"

Upon FIA’s initiative, a technical meeting was organized at the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Moldova to discuss amendments to the Waste Law No 209/2016, focusing mostly on the implementation of the “deposit system” concept, on 6 April.

The meeting was moderated by the State Secretary, Mr. Grigore Stratulat, with the participation of FIA experts, the Economic Council to the Prime Minister, AO AE “ProMediu” and “Meat and Milk” Association.

The participants agreed that the draft needs to be improved, and a Position Paper on this matter will be submitted soon.
