Meeting on the aspects of the applicability of the new Customs Code

On 11 January, within the framework of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova held a working meeting with business associations on the aspects of the applicability of the new Customs Code, secondary and tertiary legislation.

In the context of the implementation process of the new provisions, specialists from the Customs Service mentioned that, at the current stage, several transitional rules are applied, so that both the customs authority and the business environment can adapt to the transformations in a step-by-step manner, through a gradual implementation of the new functionalities of the information system.
