On 5 June we discussed on the Parliament platform about the economic diplomacy and how diplomatic missions can promote exports and attract foreign investment. Regular meetings on this topic have started on the parliamentary platform with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Investment Agency and representatives of the Association of Foreign Investors in Moldova.
The Council for Economic Diplomacy will be created as soon as possible, which will set priorities, objectives, performance indicators for each diplomatic mission. Parliament will be involved and monitor this process.
Promoting exports and attracting investment must become the most important activity of embassies.
