The meeting of Working Group No. 6 “Labour Market Development”, organized within the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, was held in a hybrid format 💻🤝.
The meeting agenda included the presentation of the Youth Guarantee, a flagship initiative of the European Union 🇪🇺, which supports young people’s transition from education 🎓 to the labour market 💼 through concrete offers of employment, vocational training, apprenticeships, or traineeships.
European best practices were also discussed, including examples from Lithuania 🇱🇹 and Ukraine 🇺🇦, as well as the current state of information outreach to young people from the NEET group in the Republic of Moldova.
FIA Moldova supports the importance of implementing the Youth Guarantee in the Republic of Moldova as well, as an essential instrument that will help facilitate young people’s transition towards sustainable integration into the labour market 🚀.
