On 18 November, the Meeting of the WG no. 6 “Development of the labor market” within the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova was held.
The Agenda of the meeting included the presentation of draft policies aimed at improving family policies:
1. Equitable involvement of parents in raising and taking care of children;
2. Extending work arrangements – streamlining the reconciliation of professional and personal life.
The above-mentioned policy projects were developed under the project “More opportunities: Gender-sensitive family policies for the private sector in the Western Balkans and Moldova”, carried out by UNFPA Moldova, with the support of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), in partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
