The meeting of Working Group No. 4, dedicated to the topic “Reducing informal employment and the phenomenon of envelope wages,” was held on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova 🇲🇩.
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the State Labour Inspectorate, the General Inspectorate for Migration, as well as members of the business community and business associations 🤝.
Discussions focused on combating undeclared work and identifying effective solutions to reduce this phenomenon 📊.
📌 The working group aims to:
• identify the causes and solutions for reducing informal employment;
• reduce the phenomenon of “envelope wages”;
• assess the impact of the proposed measures;
• contribute to the development and monitoring of the action plan in this field.
