The Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), represented by Inga Pascal – Project Manager, participated in the Working Group 10 meeting “Agri-food Sector Development”, held on the platform of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister of Moldova 🏛️.
Bringing together representatives from public authorities, the business community, sectoral associations, academia, and international partners, the main objective of the meeting was to consult on the draft Strategic Program of Agricultural Policy (PSPA) for 2026–2030 📄.
The document sets out the rules for implementing financial support from the National Fund for Agriculture and Rural Development (FNDAMR), serving as the central instrument to achieve the national agricultural policy objectives over the next five years.
During the discussions, participants had the opportunity to present the positions of sectoral associations, propose adjustments to the draft, and highlight issues considered priorities.
FIA Moldova emphasizes the importance of involving and consulting the business community in developing and finalizing such programs, ensuring that the proposed measures align with the real needs of the agri-food sector.
