Reforms for a more competitive and predictable economic environment!
The National Commission for Consultations and Collective Negotiations convened in a meeting attended by Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Osmochescu, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Natalia Plugaru, as well as representatives of public authorities, trade unions, employers’ associations, and experts in the field 🤝.
📌 The discussions focused on deregulation packages and measures aimed at modernizing labor legislation, with an emphasis on reducing bureaucracy, streamlining procedures, and lowering the administrative burden on the business environment.
📊 The first legislative package proposes amendments to 71 normative acts, including the Labour Code and the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, while the second предусматриes the revision of 29 Government decisions. At the same time, participants analyzed solutions for eliminating or simplifying certain permits and administrative requirements that generate unjustified costs and difficulties for companies.
📈 The measures under review are part of the Reform Agenda and aim to develop a clearer, more efficient, and more predictable regulatory framework capable of stimulating investment, competitiveness, and the sustainable development of the economy of the Republic of Moldova.
🔹 FIA Moldova was represented by Ana Groza, Executive Director, who emphasized the importance of promoting reforms based on dialogue with the business community and of ensuring a stable, predictable, and competitiveness-oriented regulatory framework. At the same time, FIA reaffirmed its willingness to actively contribute, through the expertise of its member companies, to the development of public policies that reduce bureaucracy and improve the investment climate.
