The Foreign Investors Association of Moldova (FIA) participated in the meeting of the National Commission for Consultations and Collective Negotiations..
The Commission represents a national platform for social dialogue between the Government, employers’ organizations, and trade unions, where several topics with an impact on the business environment and labour market were discussed, including:
🔹 the presentation of the activity report of the State Labour Inspectorate for 2025;
🔹 actions undertaken by the authorities to transpose Directive 2008/94/EC on the protection of employees in the event of the insolvency of their employer;
🔹 the legal mechanism for the approval and registration of the producer price for locally manufactured medicines.
Regarding the topic of prices for locally produced medicines, the business community’s position on this mechanism was presented, emphasizing the need for a balanced, predictable, and transparent regulatory framework. Such a framework should support the development of local producers, ensure public access to medicines, and contribute to strengthening the pharmaceutical security of the Republic of Moldova.
As a member of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Moldova, FIA will continue to be an active partner in promoting initiatives that support the development of the business environment.
