The Foreign Investors Association (FIA), together with American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham), and the European Business Association (EBA) had a joint meeting with representatives of the IMF Mission to discuss Moldova’s economic outlook and key reform priorities.
The three business associations highlighted investors’ expectations regarding fiscal predictability, regulatory stability, justice sector reforms, labor market challenges, and progress linked to Moldova’s EU accession agenda. They underlined the need for consistent implementation of reforms to strengthen competitiveness and improve the investment climate.
The IMF Mission shared insights on macroeconomic developments and reaffirmed the importance of private sector engagement in the reform process. Both sides expressed readiness to maintain regular dialogue and cooperation.
FIA Moldova was represented by Ana Groza – Executive Director, together with the representatives of the member companies.
