Meeting of the Critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Working Group

Today, November 25, 2024, the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), together with representatives from member companies, participated in the meeting of the Critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Working Group ย ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ๐Ÿ’ป, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, with the support of the USAID project “Critical Infrastructure Digitalization and Resilience (CIDR)” ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ผ, as well as the โ€œMoldova Cybersecurity Rapid Assistanceโ€ project, implemented by the Estonian e-Governance Academy and funded by the European Commission.

The purpose of the meeting was to continue the open dialogue on the implementation of Law No. 48/2023 on Cybersecurity and to provide clarity to public and private sector entities regarding the secondary regulatory framework under development, which will directly impact companies and entities that will be designated as critical service providers ๐Ÿ”. Additionally, discussions were held on the progress of the operationalization of the Cybersecurity Agency and the future requirements for critical service providers ๐Ÿ“Š.
