The Advisory Council for the Digitization of the Economy – iConsiliu, within the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, held a meeting on 10 August.
According to the agenda, the following topics were discussed:
✅ Current national priorities in the field of digital transformation, addressed by the Deputy Prime Minister for Digitization, Mr Iurie Țurcanu,
✅ Developments in the legislative package on stimulating eCommerce and the project on the international business park – BPO, presented by the Minister of Economy, Mr Sergiu Gaibu,
✅ Progress on the implementation of the Roadmap for the digitization of the economy, addressed by the ConsEcon Advisor on Digitization, Mr Vitalie Tarlev,
✅Presentation of the assessment and recommendations on some elements of the eCommerce infrastructure in the Republic of Moldova (Fintech and SME access to eCommerce platforms), and other topics.
