Today, Dr. Alexander Koss, FIA Chairman, Speaker of the Board of Directors of Südzucker Moldova SA , have met with the representatives of the German Economic Team Moldova. The scope of the meeting was the preliminary presentation of the research “The economic impact of the Foreign Direct Investments in Moldova”.
It was concluded that companies with FDI are more productive than domestic companies. Also, companies with FDI are paying higher wages to their employees, thus improving the wellbeing of the population and contributing to higher taxes.
These are strong empirical results for the government to facilitate business for existing companies with FDI and to attract more FDI in the Republic of Moldova.
