The Foreign Investors Association (FIA) participated in a working meeting dedicated to the development of the capital market in the Republic of Moldova, together with representatives of business associations, financial institutions and relevant authorities.
The discussions focused on the stages of launching BIMx, the functioning of the regulated market and the multilateral trading facility (MTF), the opportunities offered to issuers, as well as the challenges that currently limit companies’ access to financing through the capital market.
FIA welcomes this initiative, especially since the founders of BIMx also include member companies of the Association, which reflects the active involvement of the investment environment in the development of the financial infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova.
A special emphasis was placed on the need to develop an investment culture and strengthen financial education for investors, entrepreneurs, students, journalists and the diaspora – essential elements for the growth of a modern and functional capital market.
🤝 FIA reaffirms its commitment to supporting the development of a competitive, transparent and aligned investment ecosystem with European best practices, which will provide companies with new financing opportunities and contribute to the development of the economy of the Republic of Moldova.
FIA was represented by Ana Groza, Executive Director
