Yesterday, the Association of Foreign Investors in Moldova (FIA) participated in the regular meeting of the Dispute Resolution Council within the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA). The meeting provided a significant opportunity for stakeholders to engage in discussions regarding the legal and regulatory frameworks that impact businesses operating in the food safety and phytosanitary sectors.
The agenda of the meeting focused on reviewing three preliminary requests submitted by two companies, which sought the cancellation of ANSA’s control delegations. Additionally, the companies requested the declaration of the nullity of the results of the controls that had been carried out under ANSA’s authority. These issues are critical for maintaining a transparent, fair, and efficient regulatory environment for businesses in Moldova.
The collaboration between the private sector and public authorities is vital for strengthening the investment climate and fostering a transparent, fair, and predictable business environment.
