Launch Event of the Initiative “Tax Policy for Gender Equality”

The launch event of the initiative “Tax Policy for Gender Equality” in the Republic of Moldova took place recently.

This marks the Republic of Moldova’s commitment to aligning its tax system with the Sustainable Development Goals 🌍, with a special focus on Goal 5️⃣: Gender Equality 👩‍⚖️👨‍⚖️, contributing to the country’s inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development.

The event provided a platform to discuss how gender-responsive tax policies can:
🔹 reduce inequalities;
🔹 support women’s entrepreneurship;
🔹 accelerate Moldova’s path toward European integration.
