Transition to a green and competitive economy can only succeed through genuine dialogue between authorities and the business community!
♻️ Today, the Foreign Investors Association (FIA) participated in the meeting of the Interministerial Working Group for the promotion of the green economy, circular economy, and ESG, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova and the Ministry of Environment, with the support of the European Union and UNDP Moldova.
📊 During the meeting, the results of the monitoring of Green Growth Indicators were presented, along with the progress in implementing the Programme for the Promotion of the Green and Circular Economy for 2024–2028, as well as the tools developed to support the implementation of ESG principles in the Republic of Moldova.
💬 During the discussion session, FIA highlighted the practical experience of its member companies in implementing ESG principles and emphasized the importance of leveraging existing best practices within the private sector. At the same time, we expressed our appreciation to the team of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and development partners for developing guidelines, informational materials, and other practical tools aimed at supporting the business community in adapting to new requirements and opportunities.
