Cybersecurity of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) was the main topic of the meeting of the Advisory Council for the Digitalization of the Economy – iConsiliu, followed by a practical workshop dedicated to SMEs.
The event brought together representatives of public authorities, IT experts, and private sector stakeholders, aiming to discuss real risks, regulatory frameworks, best practices, and digital solutions designed to protect businesses in the digital environment.
Phishing, Ransomware, and DDoS attacks – are just a few of the threats that can paralyze a company’s operations, turning it into a vulnerable and easily exploited target. Such incidents not only discourage digitalization but also significantly impact the economic development of SMEs 📉.
FIA Moldova was represented at the event by its executive team, which supports the importance of implementing cybersecurity measures by companies as a key effort in strengthening their resilience against digital threats.
