On 2 December, FIA members met with the Parliamentarians Radu Marian, Sergiu Lazarencu and Alex Trubca to discuss the provisions of the draft Tax and Customs Policy for 2023, provided by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova.
During the meeting, a number of topics of priority interest for the business environment were discussed, including:
📌 Introduction of the concept of “transfer pricing”;
📌 Unjustified extension of patent-based activity for points 1.1 and 1.2 of the Law No. 93/1998 on the entrepreneur’s patent;
📌 Exclusion of the maximum ceiling on land tax and real estate tax;
📌 The need to increase the maximum ceiling on meal vouchers/organised meals to 100 lei;
📌 Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR);
📌 Giving employers the possibility to provide a one-off non-taxable allowance to employees during the cold season;
📌 Others.
