🌍♻️ ESG training for civil servants continued between 13-15 June, providing additional training for another 16 officials.
👥 Thus, a total of 31 people from various public institutions acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to support the implementation of environmental, social and corporate governance strategies in Moldova.
🏛️ The workshops were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova, in collaboration with Moldova PRO Reform MISRA, the Association of Foreign Investors from the Republic of Moldova (FIA Moldova) and PwC.
📚 The training program included detailed theoretical explanations, as well as practical examples, regarding environmental, social and corporate governance factors, in the context of the alignment of the Republic of Moldova with European good practices 🇪🇺🇲🇩. Also, the participants had the opportunity to learn from the first source and interact with the experts of the companies, which already implement and report on the basis of ESG indicators.
📌 The objectives of the workshop included familiarizing officials with ESG standards and integrating them into public policies and projects, developing ESG performance assessment skills, monitoring progress, and improving ESG communication and collaboration skills.
