The Foreign Investors Association (FIA), in partnership with the United Nations (UN) in Moldova, organized on September 25–26, 2025, two regional workshops in Bălți and Cahul, dedicated to the implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The events brought together large companies, SMEs, and local authorities to explore:
✔️ how ESG standards can be integrated into modern business practices;
✔️ aligning ESG with the UN 2030 Agenda and Moldova’s European path;
✔️ practical exercises on value chain analysis and double materiality;
✔️ concrete examples from Moldcell and Efes Moldova;
✔️ a roadmap guide for SMEs on implementing ESG.
Through these trainings, FIA and UN Moldova are helping to build a shared culture of sustainability, aimed at strengthening economic competitiveness, transparency, and integration into international value chains.
