Between March 18–20, 2026, Chișinău became a regional hub for discussions on sustainability, competitiveness, and the future of business in the region.
At the initiative and invitation of Danish Industry, with financial support from the New Democracy Fund (NDF), leaders from Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia, and Georgia came together to turn ESG from concept into practice.
FIA was not only an active participant — but also a co-organizer. Together with CNPM and the Secretariat of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister, we contributed directly to organizing the event, helping create a genuine platform for dialogue between the business community, international partners, and public authorities.
What we built together:
🔹 ESG kits tailored for companies across the region
🔹 concrete ideas for integrating biodiversity into business
🔹 exchange of best practices across four countries
🔹 direct dialogue with the Government of the Republic of Moldova on the green transition
The dialogue with authorities went beyond formality — it was a practical discussion on policies, challenges, and real solutions for companies.
From conference room to field: Company visits demonstrated how ESG works in practice — not as theory, but as a competitive advantage.
Special thanks to Efes Moldova, Purcari, and ERAGREAT for their openness and for sharing real ESG implementation examples.
The key message is clear: ESG is no longer optional. It is already part of how we build resilient businesses and modern economies.
FIA will continue to turn this dialogue into concrete action.
