📌 Today, October 24, 2024, Mrs. Ana Groza, Executive Director of the Foreign Investors Association in Moldova (FIA), along with representatives of other civil society organizations from the country, participates in the Enlargement High-Level Forum “Towards Successful EU Enlargement”, held in Brussels, Belgium.
🔴 The forum is organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), jointly with the European Commission (EC), bringing together high-level representatives from the EC, Member States, Candidate Countries and potential candidate countries.
🔖The event aims to highlight the role of social dialogue and civil society in progressing on the accession path, including the importance of upholding the EU’s fundamental values.
❗In this sense, there is important to emphasize that the EESC is the first EU institution that decided to involve civil society representatives (employers, trade unionists and representatives of civil society organizations) from EU candidate countries, including Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, to participate in the EESC’s consultative work in 2024, therefore facilitating the gradual integration of candidate countries into the EU.
