The Foreign Investors Association (FIA Moldova) participated on 14 November in the meeting dedicated to the future Connecting Europe Facility 2028–2034 within the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). FIA was represented by the Enlargement Candidate Member – Ana Groza.
FIA presented several proposals and amendments relevant for Moldova’s integration into European connectivity initiatives, and we are pleased that these inputs were taken into consideration by the Study Group.
FIA’s key messages included:
🔹 The inclusion of EU candidate countries in major connectivity projects, supported by clear eligibility criteria;
🔹 The need for technical assistance to help prepare high-quality projects;
🔹 The importance of digitalising and securing infrastructure at the EU’s Eastern border.
FIA remains committed to promoting Moldova’s alignment with European standards and ensuring that the interests of foreign investors are reflected in EU-level policymaking.
